Problem for projects on soft soil is an unacceptable long consolidation time. By using PVD, we can cut the consolidation time significantly and increase soil’s shear strength.

 

Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) material is a material made of  a combination of high mechanical strength core and wrapped with non woven geotextile material that inserted vertically into the ground to drain water, release the soil pore pressure to the surface of the soil, so that it can speed up consolidation time of soft foundations.
